The UEFA Champions League's 1st week of the 2023/24 season just concluded on Thursday. We saw some interesting matches, and some great teams turned out to challenge the big clubs. Manchester City are the defending champions of the competition, and, they will look to defend their title against the best teams in Europe.

  • Bayern Munich: 4 vs. Manchester United: 3 (FT) (Bayern Munich secured 3 points )

  • Arsenal: 4 vs. PSV Eindhoven: 0 (FT) (Arsenal secured 3 points)
  • Sevilla: 1 vs. RC Lens: 1 (FT) (1 point each)

Group C

  • Braga: 1 vs. Napoli: 2 (FT) (3 points for Napoli)
  • Real Madrid: 1 vs.  FC Union Berlin: 0 (FT) (3 points for Real Madrid) 

Group D

  • Benfica: 0 vs. Red Bull Salzburg: 2 (FT) (Red Bull Salzburg secured 3 points)
  • Real Sociedad: 1 vs. Inter Milan: 1 (FT) (1 point each)

When does the second week of the UCL start?

The first week of the UCL recorded many big wins and interesting matches. However, the beauty of this competition is that it gets more interesting as the weeks pass. The second week of the tournament will start on Tuesday, October 3, and go on until the 5th.
