Manchester United continued with their woeful form this season after a goalless draw against AZ Alkmaar in their UEFA Europa League clash on Thursday. The situation for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going from bad to worse as his side failed to secure a single shot on target against the Dutch. Manchester United are now winless in their last 10 away games in all competitions (0-6-4). United had control in defence but displayed a very poor performance in attack with Marcus Rashford dropping another below-average performance.
Manchester United have failed to score more than one goal in a game since their 4-0 win against Chelsea at the start of the Premier League season. Although AZ's striker Idrissi had a few chances to give the opposite team a scare, David De Gea managed to stop them with exceptional goalkeeping skills. Both the sides displayed a decent performance in defence, but Solskjaer will hope to change his team's momentum in their Premier Leauge clash against Newcastle United.
