Valtteri Bottas is one the names that has been associated with the Formula One grid for a very long time. Currently driving for Kick Sauber, formerly Alfa Romeo, the Finnish driver is a ten time Grand Prix winner and one of the most experienced drivers on the grid. 

The 2024 season has not been going how Bottas would have wanted it to as Kick Sauber currently sit last on the table and are the only team who have not scored any points this season. There are several big changes going on in Formula One season and one of them is that from 2026 onwards Kick Sauber will officially become Audi.

Currently Valtteri Bottas does not have a confirmed seat for the next season and the driver hopes to reserve a drive for next season as quickly as possible. There have been reports coming that Valtteri Bottas would be the driver who will be carry forwarded by Kick Sauber for when they transition into Audi due to the vast experience he brings from his time's at Williams, Mercedes and now Kick Sauber.

Bottas took to Instagram to post a picture of a car with his F1 number 77 written on it. The speculations started because the car in question is an Audi R8 and fans think this is a massive hint regarding Bottas's future in the sport. This photo seems to confirm that Bottas will be a part of the transition that will take place in 2026. 

Fans Want Bottas 

Bottas's time with Sauber has not been similar to his stint with Mercedes where he was a regular on the podium.

 Currently Bottas has struggled with his Kick Sauber car and due to this he has garnered a lot of support from fans. The fans welcome the idea of Valtteri Bottas and Nico Hulkenberg to be the duo that Audi go forward with upon their arrival in the sport. The experience Bottas brings could be extremely essential for Audi.
