Lando Norris Opens Up On His FRIENDSHIP With Max Verstappen Amidst Heated Title Battle

Two of Formula One's best drivers Lando Norris and Max Verstappen are engaged in a heated title battle at the moment with Max Verstappen pulling away from his McLaren counterpart with only three races left of the season. The two drivers are good friends off the track but the relationship seems to be strained these days as the two drivers are engaged in the battle for Formula One's top crown. Lando Norris recently opened up on how his friendship is these days with Max Verstappen.

Lando Norris recently opened up on his relationship with Max Verstappen and how it has been affected with the two drivers going at it against one another with everything they have got.

“I don’t know, I’m split. In some ways, you kind of think how someone can be personally and how you can get along with people can be so different to how you are on track," Norris said.“

It’s such a different world there on the track to here doing this [in the paddock]. It’s my first time being in this situation, and time will tell how that changes. But for now I still respect Max, I think he respects me, but maybe ask me again at the end of the year!” the McLaren driver added.

How The Championship Battle Stands At The Moment

At the moment, Max Verstappen seems to have pulled away from Lando Norris in the championship battle after the Dutch driver put up an excellent drive at the Sau Paulo Grand Prix in Brazil. Max Verstappen now holds a steady 61 point lead on Lando Norris.

As far as the Constructors Championship is concerned, McLaren lead Red Bull and Ferrari and as things stand are on their way to win the Constructors title.
