Jimmy Neesham was one of the key players for New Zealand in World Cup 2019. In fact, Neesham had almost won the World Cup for the Kiwis with his stunning performances with both bat and ball. In the final, he took the attack to Jofra Archer in the super over and kept the Black Caps in command till he lost the strike to Martin Guptill, who failed to time the final delivery and ran himself out while attempting the second run as England were crowned world champions on the boundary count rule. Now, Jimmy Neesham has got an extraordinary compliment from a fan on social media.
A Biopic on Jimmy Neesham?
A fan had posted a picture of the Avengers star Chris Hemsworth on social media and said that Hemsworth could be the ideal person to portray Jimmy Neesham on screen if a movie is made on New Zealand team's nearly successful ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 campaign. After Neesham had gone through it, he seemed to be very impressed and replied that it was indeed a nice way to put someone in a good mood.

Brendon McCullum makes an impact
While the fan's tweet and picture were noticed by Jimmy Neesham, they were also noticed by Neesham's former New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum. McCullum had no hesitation in pulling his junior's leg but was at the receiving end. It so happened that the ex-cricketer posted a picture of a South American animal Alpaca along with Jimmy Neesham and wrote that he would personally prefer the animal to portray Neesham's character.

However, Jimmy Neesham would not let someone else take the spotlight which was rightfully meant for him even if it included his senior player. In a hilarious manner, the star all-rounder posted an image of Baz posting his photo by using his phone and wrote that it was good to see that grandpa had finally figured out how to upload a photo.
