Dabang Delhi KC and Bengal Warriors will lock horns for the PKL 2019 finals on Saturday, October 19. The match will be held at the EKA Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad (19:30 IST). Dabang Delhi KC, who have been the table-toppers for this season, defeated Bengaluru Bulls to qualify for the final, while Bengal Warriors beat U Mumba. This is the first time Dabang Delhi KC have qualified for a PKL final.

Dabang Delhi KC have had a spectacular PKL season. Captained by veteran Joginder Narwal, Delhi have a well-balanced defence and attack. As Dabang Delhi KC ranked first on the PKL 2019 points table, they directly qualified for semi-final 1. They defeated Bengaluru Bulls 44-38 on October 16 to secure their place in the finals. Youngster Naveen Kumar has been their top performer with 283 raid points. He also has 21 Super 10s this season, which is a new Pro Kabaddi League record. Chandran Ranjit and Vijay have also provided the perfect support to Naveen, earning raid points when crucial. Ravinder Pahal leads their defence with 62 tackle points. In the semi-final 1, Dabang Delhi KC scored 23 raid points and 15 tackle points.
PKL 2019: Bengal Warriors
Bengal Warriors edged past U Mumba in the semi-final 2 with a two-point win. Maninder Singh, who is also their captain, is their top performer with 205 points. Despite his absence in the semi-final 2 due to an injury, Bengal Warriors showed excellent teamwork and secured their spot in the finals. Sukesh Hegde, K Prapanjan and Mohammad Nabibakhsh have scored for Bengal Warriors whenever necessary. For defence, Baldev Singh and Rinku Narwal have a total of over 100 points. Jeeva Kumar too has contributed with 35 tackle points. Baldev Singh is their most successful defender with 64 raid points.
