Bengaluru Bulls and UP Yoddha will lock horns for the Eliminator 1 of the PKL playoffs on Monday, October 14 at 19:30 IST. The match will be held at the EKA Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad. The team to win the Eliminator will play the first semi-final agaisnt the No.1 side on the points table, Dabang Delhi KC. Defending champions Bengaluru Bulls are currently ranked sixth of the PKL 2019 points table, while UP Yoddha are ranked third.

Bengaluru Bulls were the fifth team to qualify for the PKL playoffs. Their 59-36 win against Haryana Steelers on October 2 earned them a spot for the Eliminator. In the PKL 2019, Hi-Flyer Pawan Kumar Sehrawat has been the Bulls' MVP, skilfully dominating the opposition's defence with 308 raid points. Currently, Sehrawat has ten consecutive Super 10s, including his record-breaking 39 raid points against the Steelers. Mahender Singh is Bengaluru Bulls' top defender with 55 tackle points to his name, the maximum being his seven points against Telugu Titans during Match 31. Saurabh Nandal and Amit Sheoran have a combined total of over 100 tackle points, taking care of Bengaluru's corner defence.
PKL 2019: UP Yoddha
UP Yoddha defeated Dabang Delhi KC to secure their spot for the PKL playoffs. They were the sixth team to qualify. This marks the third consecutive season of UP Yoddha qualifying for the PKL playoffs. Though UP's defence has been slightly dominating for PKL 2019, Shrikant Jadhav has scored an impressive 139 raid points for the team, making him their best raider. Rishank Devadiga and Surender Gill have provided enough support throughout the season. Left corner defender Sumit is the star defender. He has 72 tackle points which is the third-highest in PKL 2019. Skipper Nitesh Kumar follows closely with 70 tackle points. UP Yoddha have a total of 246 tackle points, second to only Puneri Paltan, who have a total of 264 points.
