Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju shared a memory of his visit to the 2008 Beijing Olympics on October 7. Rijiju took to Twitter to share a throwback video of him watching the Olympics sports. In the video shared on the Sports Minister's Twitter handle, he can also be seen touring various tourist destinations of China like The Great Wall of China, Bird's Nest Stadium (Beijing) and, The Forbidden City.

Kiren Rijiju as Sports Minister
Kiren Rijiju has taken up many new and innovative initiatives after assuming the office of the Sports Minister of India. On October 5, he hailed the NBA India Games as a 'historic day for sports' as he presented the match ball in the second contest of the pre-season.
