With that, his popularity has risen tenfold and he has now been granted the opportunity to be the first former MMA fighter to beat Paul in the boxing ring. Jake Paul was supposed to take on Mike Tyson at the event, but Tyson pulled out due to health-related issues. Hence, Perry came into the picture and the fight is scheduled to hit the ring on July 20. Ahead of the intriguing battle, Tensions between the two have grown over the past week as they have sat down opposite each other in a face-to-face interview, with Perry claiming he is going to ‘dig through your eyeballs and find your memories’.
Recently, Paul brought a new business into existence called ‘W’, which specializes in skin-care products for men.
During Perry’s open workout where he showed off his boxing skills while striking the pads with his trainer, a mascot of Paul’s ‘W’ entered the ring to try and steal the limelight.
Perry did not like the sight of the mascots, the 32-year-old ran over and started punching the mascot. Although he didn't really pounce upon the mascot with much ferocity, security began to swarm the ring and pull the former UFC fighter off the man in the costume.
“It’s my time, bro! It’s my time!” Perry continued shouting.
