‘Push Ups for Cash’: Conor McGregor Rips Khabib as UFC Icon’s Accounts Get Sealed for Tax Nonpayment
Conor McGregor continues his verbal assault over Khabib Nurmagomedov as the former Dagestani UFC fighter runs into a problem with the Russian Authorities.

UFC Hall of Famer and undefeated MMA legend Khabib Nurmagomedov has been surrounded with all sorts of trouble lately. The Eagle came back in notoriety after it was revealed that the terrorist attack in Dagestan, which shook up not just the region but the entire world, had a connection with the former MMA star. Now, Khabib has entered into a lot of trouble with the Russian authorities ever since the scenario came to light. The former MMA striker also seems to be in financial trouble after the Russian authorities took action over him. Conor McGregor, who has been a massive Khabib critic, has lashed out at the Dagestan-based fighter.

Conor McGregor has been a massive critic of Khabib Nurmagomedov, and their riveting rivalry goes beyond the octagon. It turns out that whatever the Irish MMA icon has said about the Dagestan-based striker turned out to be partially true after it was known that Khabib had run into a problem with the Russian authorities. The Armed police enforcement officers raided the former UFC striker's martial arts gym after it was said that the terrorists who attacked holy sites in Makhachkala used to train at Nurmagomedov's gym.
More of Khabib's issues have come to light as the former MMA striker seems to be in a standoff with the Russian Authorities over the nonpayment of taxes as the striker looks to be in a dire financial situation. Khabib has over $3 Million in due, and the authorities have seized all of his bank accounts. Conor McGregor poked fun at the Dagestani fighter as he responded to it.
In a now-deleted tweet, McGregor wrote, 'broke and on the run if you see him tell him push ups for cash,' on X (Formerly Twitter).

As per the Russian Media outlet Mesh, due to legal concerns, Khabib Nurmagomedov seems to be in a bad situation. "The Eagle" is in dire financial circumstances and has already had multiple enterprises shut down. Before Khabib left MMA in 2023 to seek other options, the Russian IRS equivalent, the Federal Tax Service, started looking into his firms. Upon reviewing his businesses, the FNS found certain discrepancies that led to a comprehensive audit of all the financial records. The gym raid in response to the terror attack, dealt the former UFC fighter yet another serious setback.
