Khabib Nurmagomedov has been one of UFC's most prolific fighters so far. His undefeated streak is one of the most unfathomable things that exists in the MMA circuit. One of his most exciting matches was against Conor McGregor, another super MMA striker, where he defeated him clean as a slate. Given his undefeated status as a fighter, one aspect that can come to light is his earnings. It was something that had remained in the dark for a lot of time. But recently, that secret was exposed in recent times.

Khabib's UFC pay structure revealed
As one of UFC's most successful fighters, Khabib Nurmagomedov is known to have one of the largest purse among all other fighters in the UFC. His contractual details have been a big mystery for quite a time, and his per-fight pay has mostly been subject to estimate until now. However, an MMA X user has published Khabib Nurmagomedov's UFC contract. UFC submitted Khabib's contract as evidence in their ongoing antitrust action launched by former UFC middleweight star Cung Le.
The contract was posted by X user Spinnnin Backfist, who stated that Khabib Nurmagomedov might have collected an overall salary of $160,000, including an $80,000 win incentive for his fight against Edson Barboza. Barboza, on the other hand, received $75,000 in their 2017 match.
He also claimed that Khabib Nurmagomedov faced the Notorious Conor McGregor for a basic salary of $2 million after two fights.
Khabib opens up on his decision to retire
One of the most shocking moments in UFC came up when Khabib Nurmagomedov put a halt to his flying MMA career. He rose as a king, and he retired the same, with his undefeated streak remaining untouched. But he gave out his reasons on why he chose to retire over having a sparkling career.
“When you’re the best fighter in the world, when you’re strong enough, when you have money when you’re famous, it’s very hard to say no to all these things.”
“It’s not easy to just say no to 20, 30, 40 million, but for myself, it’s not everything. This is not the most important. It was not an easy decision, but if I decide, I just decide. It’s finished. I leave this alone. I am happy and, like I never regret with my decision, never.”
