'I helped him out a little bit': Donald Trump Lauds Dana White For Leading UFC To Soaring Heights

From just another MMA promotion in the world to becoming the biggest and best in the world, UFC has had quite the journey, and it wouldn't have been possible without the helping hand of Donald Trump . UFC CEO Dana White has time and again thanked the president-elect of the USA for the role he rendered in lifting UFC to soaring heights. The relationship between UFC and Donald Trump has remained strong over the years. So much so that as Donald Trump won the US presidential elections on November 6, White was present among the key people standing at the back in support of their leader during his victory speech.

Donald Trump Acknowledges Dana White's Effort In Building UFC

While addressing the supporters after being elected as the 47th President of the USA, Donald Trump spared a few words for Dana White and expressed how he did a phenomenal job in uplifting the sport, which many rejected for its rough nature, but with a little nurturing from him, White took to it a scale that nobody else could have taken it.

"Dana White who has done some job he's that tough guy. So, Dana started UFC and uh came to me do you mind if I use your, nobody wanted to give them a risk because they said it's a rough sport a little rough and I helped him out a little bit and I went and I said this is the roughest sport I've ever seen. But I began to like it and he loved it and nobody's done a better job in sports and and you know he's a very motivational kind of a guy what he does he gets these Fighters and they they really go at it and it's become one of the most successful Sports Enterprises anywhere at any time it's doing so well."

Dana White Invited To Speak

After speaking volumes about Dana White, the 47th President of the USA, invited the UFC to take the dais and offer some thoughts on the occasion.

Here's what Dana White said:

"Nobody deserves this more than him and nobody deserves this more than his family. This is what happens when the machine comes after you. He keeps going forward, he does not quit. He is the most resilient man I have met all my life. His family are incredible people. This is karma ladies and gentlemen. They deserve it as a family."
