Mark Zuckerberg struck with ACL injury, out of MMA action
The Meta Founder and CEO recently took to Facebook to announce that he has been out of action with an ACL tear that he sustained during training. Zuckerberg had to go through surgery to replace the torn ACL on Friday. Mark took to Facebook to share an image of what looks like his condition after the surgery. Zuck also mentioned that he was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but it looks like the dates for the same need to be pushed back.
He posted, 'Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me. I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that's delayed a bit. Still looking forward to it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support.'
Thousands of users on Facebook came forward to wish Mark Zuckerberg a speedy recovery from his injury.
Zuck vs Mark: Where is the hype?
The Mark Zuckerberg vs Elon Musk fight was one of the premier hypes in the MMA circuit when both tech moguls went at each other on their respective platforms. Both Zuckerberg and Musk have been training with some of MMA's greatest fighters and have been doing well in their sparring sessions. But with time, the hype around them has slowed down. Furthermore, with Mark's injury, it looks like their imminent fight may have to be called off.
