UFC 293: Leon Edwards hurls bottle at Colby Covington after his snide remark, fighters restrained

Things get heated between Welterweight fighters Leon Edwards and Colby Covington

The UFC 296 Press Conference saw a heated moment when two fighters nearly got involved in an all-out brawl. Welterweight fighters Leon Edwards and Colby Covington, who will be in the main event of the pay-per-view, were in the media scrum. But Covington heated things as he made a snide remark towards Edwards, which involved his dead father. 

Colby Covington said, “I'm bringing you to the seventh layer of hell. We'll say 'what's up' to your dad while we're there.”

Leon had an immediate reaction as he angrily threw a bottle towards his Welterweight opponent. 

The UFC security made sure that both fighters did not get their hands dirty before the fight. After Edwards threw the bottle, he tried to get close to Colby. But security agents instantly jumped in to separate both fighters. Covington continued to mock Edwards as the guards held them back.
