UFC 300: First three fights announced by Dana White, April PPV to feature Sterling, Jiri Prochazka

UFC President Dana White announced the first three fights for UFC 300 in Las Vegas next April, as well as other planned battles.

The MMA fans are in for a treat as the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced a crucial update on the upcoming fights that will take place in the year 2023. President Dana White has shared a bombshell revelation that will have MMA fans hooked for the next few months. All eyes will be locked in for UFC 300, which is set to be a historic event. The UFC President already said that he will be revealing the match-ups for the event, and it is now official.

Dana White announces four UFC events for 2024, reveals a partial card for UFC 300

UFC President Dana White shared a video to his X [Formerly Twitter] handle to share a crucial update on the four events of the Ultimate Fighting Championship which will take place from February to March. In the video, White stated that former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will face former title challenger Paulo Costa at UFC 298 on February 17 in Anaheim, California. They have also rescheduled the previously scheduled fight between Ian Machado Garry and Geoff Neal for UFC 298. 

White disclosed some of the fights on the UFC 300 card, which will take place on April 13 in Las Vegas and would pit former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka against Aleksandar Rakić. Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will go up to the featherweight division to face Calvin Kattar. Moreover, Bo Nickal will square off against Cody Brundage.

The UFC President also shared an update on the UFC Fight Night, which is set to take place on February 24 in Mexico City and March 30 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Former interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez will face Brian Ortega in a five-round fight. The main event in Mexico City will feature Brandon Moreno vs. Amir Albazi. On the other hand, Erin Blanchfield will face France's Manon Fiorot in a possible women's flyweight title eliminator at Fight Night in New Jersey.
