However, as the days progressed, McGregor did not enter the USADA pool and now it seems he has no plans of fighting Chandler.

Conor McGregor has plans in place for the next two fights

As Conor McGregor is quite active on Twitter, he used the platform to disseminate his plans for his two fights, and in it, the targeted fight against Chandler is not a part. Rather, the Mystic Mac is more interested in challenging the new UFC BMF titleholder Justin Gaethje and after that, wants to proceed with a long-awaited third encounter against Nate Diaz.

In now-deleted posts, Conor McGregor wrote, â€śRegardless of that nonsense match me and Nate will be completing the trilogy,” McGregor tweeted on Thursday evening. “I am going to grab that bmf belt right quick for us for us to compete for it in the trilogy.”

These Tweets make it clear that the former UFC Champ-Champ has eyes on another title and not just that wants to end a feud that was started seven years ago. Meanwhile, the future of Michael Chandler's fight is unknown. A formal announcement from Dana White might clarify everything.

Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz: Where it all started?

It should be noted that McGregor and Diaz have been at odds ever since the American sent the newly crowned undisputed featherweight champion a memorable X-rated callout in December 2015. Rafael dos Anjos' injury-related withdrawal from UFC 196 in March 2016 gave Diaz the opportunity to face McGregor at Welterweight since he was so convinced he would win. The Irishman ran out of gas after a solid first round, got rocked, and attempted to take down a fighter famed for his Black Belt submission abilities.
