It is raining medals for India on Day 2 of the Paris Paralympics as after Avani Lekhara, it is Manish Narwal, who has also repeated his Tokyo heroics in Paris. Narwal finished 2nd in the 10m Air Pistol SH1 event to claim the Silver medal. It is India's 4th medal on Day 2. Earlier Avani Lekhara (Gold Medal), Mona Agarwal (Bronze Medal), and Preethi Pal (Bronze) stepped on to the podium. 22-year-old Narwal finished second in the 10m Air Pistol SH1 event with 234.9 points. Narwal won Gold in the 50m Air Pistol SH1 event in TOKYO. However, this time he had to settle with a silver.

Tokyo Games gold medallist shooter Manish Narwal fought hard before settling for silver in the men's 10m air pistol (SH1) event at the Paris Paralympics here on Friday. The 22-year-old Narwal, who had won gold in 50m pistol event at Tokyo, was leading for quite some time before he slipped because of a series of poor scores to surrender the initiative to veteran South Korean marksman Jo Jeongdu. Narwal, the elder brother of Indian pistol marksman Shiva Narwal, shot 234.9, while Jeongdu took the gold with a total of 237.4.
