'A Bittersweet End': Manu Bhaker Reflects On Missing Out 3rd Medal As Her Glorious Olympics Run Ends
Manu Bhaker reflects on missing out a third medal at Olympics as her glorious Paris Olympics campaign ends with two bronze medals for India.
Manu Bhaker made India immensely proud at Paris Olympics by becoming the athlete to win two medals at a single Olympics for Independent India. However, her bid to become the first three time medalist for India at Olympics ended in heartbreak as she came 4th in the Women's 25 M Pistol and missed out on a third bronze medal by just a whisker.
As Manu Bhaker's glorious Paris Olympics campaign came to an end, the 22-year shooter took to Social Media to express her emotions after the Paris Games and called it bittersweet.

Manu Bhaker was hungry to become the first Indian athlete to win three Olympic medals. However, that dream faded but Manu Bhaker despite her latest loss returns from Paris as a two time Olympic medalist.
Reflecting on her Paris Olympics she admitted that she was overwhelmed with the support given to her at Paris Games and thanked everyone that accompanied her on this journey.
"I am extremely overwhelmed by the support and wishes that have been coming in. Winning 2 bronze medals is a dream come true. This achievement is not just mine but belongs to everyone who has believed in me and supported me along the way. I couldn't have done it without the unwavering support of my family, Coach Jaspal Rana sir and everyone who stood by me, including the NRAI , TOPS , SAI, OGQ, Performax
& especially Haryana government. With all my well-wishers," said Manu Bhaker.
Manu Bhaker further mentioned that despite the way her Olympics campaign ended, it was a moment of immense pride and joy.
"Competing and performing at the biggest stage for my country is a moment of immense pride and joy. Thank you all for being a part of this incredible journey and for standing by me through every step. Your encouragement means the world to me! A bittersweet end to my campaign in Paris but happy to contribute to India's success. Jai Hind!," signed off Manu Bhaker.
Manu Bhaker has etched herself in Olympics history forIndia forever with her performance in Paris. Now she will focus on Los Angeles 2028 to become the first Indian athlete to win three medals at Olympics.
