How Does The Final Medal Tally Look as Paris Olympics End? Where Did India Finish On The Tally?
The games once again witnessed stern competition between USA and China for the title to finish. India couldn't finish in the top-50.
After 15 days of non-stop extraordinary action, the Paris Olympics 2024 has finally concluded. With the culmination of the event, the medals tally which was variable force till now has turned into constant. As all the events have finished, there are no medals left to be won and hence every country which has secured a medal has been rendered with a final position on the medals' tally.

The games once again witnessed stern competition between USA and China for the title to finish, and much like Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, USA have finished at the top. With 40 Gold, 44 Silver, and 42 Bronze medals, USA came 1st with a total of 126 medals.
China secured the second spot with 40 Gold, 27 Silver, and 24 Bronze medals. India finished at the 71 position. Had India won one gold medal then the story would have been entirely different.

Where did India finish in the final Olympics Medal Tally?
India ended at 71st position with one silver and five bronze medals at the conclusion of the Paris Olympics on Sunday.
This time round, India aimed to win 10 Olympic medals. However, things didn't work out as hoped and India had to settle for only 6 medals at the Paris Olympics. India additionally failed to win a Gold medal in Paris and hence are ranked as low as 71 in the tally even behind the likes of neighbours Pakistan that only won one medal but it was a Gold.

Aman Sehrawat: bronze; men's freestyle 57kg (wrestling).
