The Indian Contingent in Paris have shined with their performance and have given tough times to their opponents. Whole some of them could suffered heartbreaking defeats by losing out due to a narrow margin, shooters have helped raise the flag up high as Manu Bhaler was able to clinch two bronze medals, one in a singles event while the other in a mixed event with Sarabjot Singh. The country's athletic unit has reached Paris and is all set to take part in the competition beginning today. Ahead of their start, India long Jumper Praveen Chitravel has revealed how Inspirational Neeraj Chopra is to the team.

India Long Jumper Praveen Chithravel Reveres Defending Champion Neeraj Chopra as an ‘Inspiration’
Praveen Chithravel, an Indian long jumper, has voiced his admiration for ace javelin player Neeraj Chopra, revealing that his medal win offers the other Indian competitors a significant boost, irrespective of the sport. The 23-year-old also addressed his sentiments as he prepares to make his Olympic debut at 2024 in Paris, France.
"When Neeraj gets the medal, every athlete is getting growth whether it's jumpers, throwers or even sprinters - 400 teams. So he's very inspirational for every athlete, especially for me. Whenever I have any doubts, I will ask him. He definitely replies to me.
"This is my first Olympics. I'm very happy to participate in the Olympics. This is a dream for every athlete. I'm really very excited to do the Olympics, even including my Triple jump, you know that, very hard. But I am very happy, I am very happy to participate in the Olympics," Praveen Chithravel said as per ANI.

Neeraj Chopra will have a boisterous task in the 2024 Paris Olympics as he will be the defending champion this year in the men's Javelin category. In the preceding Summer Games, Chopra snagged the historic gold medal with the 87.58m throw. All eyes will be on the javelin ace as he will be leading the charge into the French Capital.
The Indian Athletic Contingent has touched down in Paris ahead of the scheduled track and field events and they will aim to enhance the medal tally as some of the strongest athletes are a part of this year's contingent.
