Paris Olympics 2024: India have opened their account, courtesy of Manu Bhaker's heroics at the 33rd Summer Games. Bhaker brought out her best to the 33rd Summer Games and put an end to India's long drought as far as shooting in Olympics is concerned. The 22-year-old Indian shooter clinched a bronze medal in the women's 10m air pistol final to ensure a podium finish in the 'City of Lights' on Sunday (July 28). With this Bhaker has also become the first Indian women shooter to win an Olympic medal.
IPL Franchises Hail Manu Bhaker
After the initial 5-shot series, Bhaker found herself stationed on the second spot with 50.4. She later dropped to the third spot after the second 5-shot series as she could accumulate 100.3 points. The Indian shooter later hit a 10.5 in her first individual shot. Bhaker was only 0.7 points behind from the top spot with 131 points in her kitty. A pistol malfunction during the Tokyo Olympics brought tears to Bhaker's eyes but now she has finally clinched an Olympic medal and has registered het name in the pages of history. After Bhaker's historic win, the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises took to their official social media platforms and congratulated her.
Manu Credits The Bhagavad Gita For Her Win

"In Gita, Krishna says to Arjun that you focus on your karma and not the outcome of your karma. That was going through my mind in the final moment. Just do your thing
