Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been pushing India to make it a sporting capital. The country's push to make and develop athletes has been one of his premier aims. The Prime Minister has been one of the biggest encouragements to Indian athletes, which was evident when he met the Indian Olympic and Paralympic contingent. Every day we see new achievements. Today, both India men's and women's teams have won gold medals in Chess Olympiad," the Indian Prime Minister said during his address.PM Modi is on a tour to the US and he initially landed in Philadelphia to meet President Joe Biden . He then travelled to New York for the second part of his trip, where he took part in the Quad Summit and also had bilateral meetings with several other dignitaries. The Indian Prime Minister will interact with the American business tycoons and also address the Summit of the Future at the UN's General Assembly.
