He also touched upon what went right for Djokovic while also spoke out on what should Alcaraz improve in his game.
"Well done, @DjokerNole on winning the gold medal at #Paris2024. @carlosalcaraz put up a strong fight and obviously has a bright future ahead, but Djokovic had an ace up his sleeve whenever he was serving. That was the key to his success today, in my opinion. Alcaraz has what it takes, but to truly dominate for years on all surfaces, he’ll need to step up his serve!" Sachin Tendulkar tweeted after Djokovic clinched the Gold after defeating Alcaraz.
Novak Djokovic has already achieved a men's record 24 Grand Slam victories and the most weeks at No. 1 in the rankings of any male or female in the history of the sport. It already has an Olympic medal from the 2008 Summer Games in it. However, he has stated that simply being a bronze was insufficient. Djokovic has now become the oldest person to win a gold medal in his sport since 1908, stopping 21-year-old Carlos Alcaraz of Spain from being the youngest.
