Denmark shuttler Viktor Axelsen has reached home after his successful campaign in the 2024 Paris Olympics. The star shuttler aced in badminton and rallied past some of the top global shuttlers to defeat Thailand's Kunlavut Vitidsarn. Axelsen recently took to social media to flaunt both of his gold medals which he won in Tokyo and Paris, respectively.

Viktor Axelsen Shares His Tokyo and Paris Olympic Medals: Spot the Stunning Contrast!

Denmark shuttler Viktor Axelsen showed the two gold medals he won in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics. Axelsen was one of the finest stars in badminton as his dominance knew no bounds, allowing him to secure to back-to-back gold medals. The video shared by the Dane shuttler on 'X', Formerly Twitter, showed that the Tokyo medal was shinier than the one he received in Paris. But the back pattern of the 2024 Medal had a more vintage look than the one he received in 2020.

Viktor Axelsen defeated Kunlavut Vitidsarn to secure the medal and has become the second-only athlete to bag back-to-back gold after China's Lin Dan. The Dane shuttler went 21-11, 21-11 against the Thai star in straight games during the men's singles competition at the La Chapelle Arena. Viktor was a beast in almost all of his outings and did not allow Vitidsarn to mount a comeback to rally back into the summit clash.

But Lakshya Sen was the one who gave Viktor Axelsen a hard time on the court. The semifinal clash between India and Denmark went off the hook and the fans were glued to the seats to see Sen and Axelsen in action. Lakshya resisted the former world number one in the semifinal game, but the Indian shuttler lost his momentum, allowing Viktor to win the clash in straight games.

In the Bronze medal match, India's Lakshya Sen won the first game by 21-13 against Lee Zii Jia. But the Malaysian shuttler pulled off a comeback and won the next two sets by 16-21, and 11-21. The Indian shuttle ace's campaign ended after he missed out on the bronze medal.
