Paris Olympics 2024: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker stepped up in her 2nd Olympics on July 28th and won the Bronze Medal in 10m air pistol shooting. Bhaker made her Olympic debut in Tokyo 2020 but unfortunately was not able to win a medal after her pistol snagged during the 10m air pistol qualification. At the Paris 2024 Olympics shooting competition, Manu Bhaker along with Sarabjot Singh is competing in the 10 m air pistol event. Manu is the only athlete from the 21-member Indian Shooting Team to participate in multiple individual events.

Obtaining a Paris 2024 Olympic quota for India after finishing fifth in the women's 25m pistol event at the 2023 Asian Shooting Championship, Manu Bhaker managed to win a historic bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event. Manu seems confident about winning a Bronze again in the 10m air-pistol mixed team event with Sarabjot Singh on July 30, Tuesday.

Manu Bhaker is the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at an ISSF World Cup. She is also a CWG champion in the women’s 10m air pistol event from Gold Coast 2018, where she won top honors with a CWG record. She is the first Indian Shooter and First Athlete from the country to win a gold medal at the Youth Olympics 2018.
