‘Will Change the Color’: Rani Rampal Believes Gold Medal Is Destined for India Hockey Squad in Paris
India Women's hockey player and coach Rani Rampal believes a goal medal is imminent for the Harmanpreet Singh-led India Hockey Team in Paris Olympics.

The Indian Hockey Team has been one of the most successful members of the entire contingent, which has travelled to Paris, France, from the country. The Indian men, who will be led by Harmanpreet Singh, will look to better their chances this time. Team India bagged a podium finish the last time they were in action at the Olympics in Tokyo. A Gold is being called for the side this time, and India's women's hockey coach Rani Rampal firmly believes the colour of the medal will change and the Harmanpreet-led side will be at the top of the podium this time.

Rani Rampal expects a gold-winning performance from India Hockey Team at Paris Olympics
In the forthcoming Paris Olympics, Indian field hockey player and coach Rani Rampal has high hopes for the men's national squad to alter the color of their Tokyo bronze medal. She also touched on the women's team, which was eliminated from the FIH Qualifiers after losing to Japan earlier in the year.
"Last time, our men's team won a bronze, and this time country has high expectations from them that they will win a different medal. They have prepared a lot for that. We should support our team no matter what. We firmly believe that they will change the color of the medal.
"Unfortunately, the women's hockey team could not qualify for the Olympics this time, which is a setback for us. In sports, we learn and move forward. We will prepare for the 2028 Olympics," Rani Rampal said as per ANI.
While concluding, Rani Rampal wished good luck to all the Indian players performing at this year's Olympics, saying that it is time to unleash your true potential.
The Men's National Hockey Team bagged the bronze medal at the preceding 2020 Tokyo Games. They have been pitted in Pool B and will feature Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Ireland and the reigning Champions, Belgium.
