Bajrang Punia Voices His Support for Vinesh Phogat Following CAS’ Move

After the Court of Arbitration for Sport dismissed Vinesh Phogat's plea for a joint silver medal, wrestler Bajrang Punia took to 'X' and extended his support to the famed grappler, saying that she is still a pride of the country and deemed her as the country's Kohinoor.

"I believe your medal was snatched away in this darkness, You are shining like a diamond in the whole world today. The pride of world champion Hindustan, Rustam-e-Hind Vinesh Phogat you are the Kohinoor of the country. The entire world is going Vinesh Phogat Vinesh Phogat. Vinesh Phogat garnered immense support after she was disqualified from the Women's 50kg Freestyle Final Event in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
