UFC news: What led to Ronda Rousey's UFC downfall?
One of the things that experts associate her last two losses to is bad coaching, with her team trying to build the grappling specialist as a knockout artist. Her 12-0 undefeated UFC streak came to a halt when she defended her UFC Women’s Bantamweight title against Holly Holm, where both engaged in a stand-up brawl for the most part of the fight. Holm, being a renowned striker dominated through the rounds eventually securing a TKO win.
After a short hiatus from the sport, she returned to the Octagon to face off against Amanda Nunes in an effort to redeem her mixed martial arts career. Amanda Nunes, the reigning Women's Bantamweight and Featherweight Champion, as of this writing, shut down Ronda with a brutal Round 1 TKO in record 48 seconds. This marked the end of her MMA career and was last seen in the Octagon.
Ronda Rousey makes her WWE debut
