Spanish Tennis star Carlos Alcaraz is one of the most prominent players of the current era. Alcaraz has the talent to take over the legacy of Tennis greats such as Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal. However, from the last few days, Alcaraz has not been in the best of forms and has been inconsistent with his performance.

Carlos Alcaraz's brilliant shot gives him applause from the Mexican crowd

During an Exhibition match between Carlos Alcaraz and American Tennis player Tommy Paul, the Spanish star hit a brilliant smash which shocked his American opponent. The former world number one was leading in the match and won the first set by 7-6. In a stint to win the second set, Alcaraz was ahead by 4-1. The Spanish star showcased brilliance during the match against Paul and hit a shot which was applauded by the Mexican spectators as well as his opponent. Later, Alcaraz was able to take the sweep by 7-6, 6-3.

Carlos Alcaraz aims to regain lost form in the Australian Open 

After winning the Wimbledon earlier this year, Carlos Alcaraz grabbed a lot of praise and was expected to carry the legacy of many Tennis greats. However, Alcaraz has not been able to continue his form in the upcoming tournaments and was also not able to defend his US Open title from Novak Djokovic. 

With the Tennis season all set to kick start from the Australian Open in January next year, Carlos Alcaraz will be wanting to regain his lost form and once again become the number one ranked Tennis player.
