Patrick McEnroe recovering from COVID-19, backs Wimbledon cancellation
A day after announcing he has tested positive for the coronavirus, Patrick McEnroe thanked his supporters and health care workers in a twiiter post and urged everyone to help in the fight against the pandemic.

A day after announcing he has tested positive for the coronavirus, Patrick McEnroe thanked his supporters and health care workers in a twiiter post and urged everyone to help in the fight against the pandemic.
He had earlier posted that he had himself tested after developing symptoms of the virus, but was now feeling fine and in self-isolation at home.
The 53-year-old McEnroe, who is a former French Open doubles champion, US Davis Cup captain and brother of tennis legend John McEnroe, also said that cancelling Wimbledon was "absolutely the right decision".
