Rafael Nadal interacts with fans on Instagram after US Open win
Overjoyed after winning his 19th Grand Slam at the US Open 2019, tennis ace Rafael Nadal took some time out to interact with his followers on social media.

Rafael Nadal is on cloud nine since he won his 19th Grand Slam title. The Spanish tennis ace beat Daniil Medvedev in a five-set thriller in New York to win this title. Rafael Nadal is just one step away from over-taking Roger Federer, who has 20 Major crowns. Rafael Nadal, as soon as he got back home in Spain, sent an Instagram message to his fans, along with a smiling picture of himself. Below is his post from his official Instagram account.

When asked about his huge win, in an interview, the player said, “This victory means a lot, especially the way the match became so difficult, so tough. The nerves were so high after having the match under control. It was a crazy match”.
The Spaniard also added, “I don’t know. I’m just emotional. It has been one of the most emotional nights of my tennis career. Thank you very, very much, everybody in this stadium. It’s been amazing energy during both weeks. I think there isn’t another stadium in the world that is more energetic than this one so many thanks for everything.”

Rafael Nadal was born on June 3, 1986, in Manacor, Mallorca, Spain. He was introduced to tennis at the tender age of 3 by one of his uncles. - 2013- Rafael Nadal added another French title and also became the first man to win the same Grand Slam singles event eight times.
- 2014- He won a ninth French Open championship.
- 2016- He captured his second career Olympic gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro Games.
- 2018- In the Australian Open, Nadal was forced to withdraw in the quarterfinals because of an injury, but, he recovered in time and claimed the French Open championship, which was his 17th Grand Slam title.
