Nick Kyrgios Isn’t Having It After Jannik Sinner Evades Suspension Despite Failing Steroid Tests Twice

Australian Tennis star Nick Kyrgios was left fuming after the No. 1 ranked Jannik Sinner was not handed a suspension despite being tested positive for a banned substance twice. Kyrgios took it to the social media platform 'X' to express his thoughts and slammed the decision for being ridiculous.

"Ridiculous - whether it was accidental or planned. You get tested twice with a banned (steroid) substance… you should be gone for 2 years. Your performance was enhanced. Massage cream…. Yeah nice," Nick Kyrgios said on 'X', formerly known as Twitter.

In another tweet, the Australian Tennis star claims that after failing two steroid tests, Jannik Sinner should be gone

"They probably tested when it was just leaving his system? The amount doesn’t matter. Wtf his team doing with something like that anyway? Save it, he failed 2 steroid tests. Should be gone," tweeted Kyrgios.

Jannik Sinner tested positive for a metabolite of Clostebol, a prohibited anabolic steroid at the Indian Wells hard-court event in March. Sinner tested positive again eight days later in a non-competition sample. He was provisionally suspended because of the test results, but he successfully made an appeal and was allowed to continue participating on tour. The in-competition sample has forced the Italian Tennis star to forfeit the ranking points he earned and the semifinal prize money he won at the ATP hard-court event.
