Roger Federer is arguably one of the greatest players tennis has ever seen. The Swiss maestro's trophy collection is impressive. He has won 20 major singles titles in the Open Era and held the World No.1 spot in the ATP rankings for longer than any other male player. Federer has also won a record eight Wimbledon titles and five consecutive US Open titles, which is the most in the Open Era.

While trophies are just a part of his legacy, the money earned by winning those trophies is even sweeter. Recently, a leading media publishing house took out a list according to which Federer is the highest-paid tennis player in the world with a net worth of $93.4 million that he has earned from prize money, endorsements and appearance fees.

The publication stated that the tennis star at one point earned a reported $70 million a year. From 2016 to 2017, he reportedly earned $71.5 million, out of which $65 million came from endorsements.

Roger Federer endorsement money

The former World No.1 makes $86 million through endorsing three global brands majorly in the banking, cars and watches industry. He inked a deal with a top Japanese apparel brand that locked him up in 2018 with a 10-year, $300 million deal. Apart from his endorsements, his eponymous foundation has raised more than $40 million and educated one million children in Africa since its launch.

The 38-year-old Swiss could be hanging up his racquet any time soon but looking at his popularity, the endorsements are certainly not going to stop coming.
