Roger Federer: Swiss maestro's favourite food finally revealed by his manager

Swiss tennis ace Roger Federer, who is currently competing in the ATP World Tour Finals in London, is all set to play exhibition matches in South America.

World No.3 Roger Federer is all set to travel to South America soon after the ATP Finals in London ends. Federer, who has won the year-end finals a record six times, has made it into the semi-finals of the event after defeating long term rival Novak Djokovic 6-4, 6-3 on Thursday. Chris Jackman, the CEO of Team8, the management company co-owned by Federer, revealed a thing or two about the Swiss legend.

Roger Federer's favourite food revealed

Jackman revealed that Roger Federer always asks for pasta before a match. He said that he eats pasta before every game and it is his favourite. He further added that Federer would continue the tradition of having pasta in Colombia as well and he is preparing for the matches against Alexander Zverev and Juan del Martin Potro very seriously.

Roger Federer to play exhibition games after ATP Finals 

Jackman added that the match in Chile is most likely to be played despite political tensions in the country. He said that he liked the Movistar Arena as it is intimate and modern. Federer is scheduled to face Zverev in the Movistar Arena in Santiago on 19th November and they are hoping for the game to happen as they are analysing the political situation accordingly. Jackman further said that Federer expects the audience to be passionate. He said that the Swiss ace remembers the reception he received in Bogota in 2012 and terms it 'the crowd that touched him the most'. Federer is scheduled to tour Bogota, Ecuador, Chile, and Mexico after finishing the ATP Finals in London.

Roger Federer vs Novak Djokovic: Winner to progress in the next round of ATP Finals.

Roger Federer came back strongly in the tournament after losing to Dominic Thiem in his first match. Federer and Thiem have progressed to the semi-finals from Group Borg after the Swiss legend defeated Djokovic on Thursday. The World No.3, who has won a record 20 Grand Slam titles, would look to end the year on a high. Federer could expect to face another long term rival of his, Rafael Nadal, who needs a win at any cost on Friday against Stefanos Tsitsipas in his final round-robin match in Group Agassi to qualify.
