UFC: Dana White disapproves Chuck Liddel's return to fighting ring

Chuck Liddel is one of those UFC fighters who has always been in the limelight since its initial days. ‘The Iceman’ was one of the most prominent fighters of the ’90s who took the sport to the extreme glory. Liddel is a veteran and he still wants to fight at the age of 49. However, according to reports, he doesn’t interest UFC President Dana White anymore.

Chuck Liddel returned to the octagon against his big-time former rival Tito Ortiz in 2018 and faced a humiliating knockout loss. Chuck made his fighting return after eight years and he was definitely not the same. He thinks of returning inside the octagon again but when UFC President Dana White was asked about Chuck Liddel’s comeback he said that ‘Chuck should not be fighting again’. According to Dana White, Chuck Liddel is an intelligent and smart person but he should not be fighting again. Dana feels that Chuck is a great person and he can do whatever he wants in his life at this stage, but that does not change his age.
Whether Chuck Liddel returns or not, it is clear that Dana White won't sign him in UFC. He has been a great ambassador of the sport but his age concerns the UFC President. However, Dana White says that he will always have respect and love for Chuck Liddel and feels that 'The Iceman' is one of the best persons he has ever met in his life.

Chuck Liddel had a glorious career with 25 wins and nine losses as a pro-MMA fighter. Liddel was one of the most feared fighters of his time and he has defeated some of the best mixed martial artists of the world like Tito Ortiz (2X), Randy Couture (2X), Vitor Belfort, Alistair Overeem in his career. However, he faced back to back three losses in UFC before retiring from the sport. ‘The Iceman’ return to the octagon again after eight years in 2018 against Tito Ortiz but could not do what he did in the past.
