UFC: Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson plans to make a biopic on Mark Kerr

After blessing fans by putting the BMF title on Jorge Masvidal’s waist at the UFC 244 recently, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is planning to make a biopic on the UFC heavyweight champion from the 90s, Mark Kerr. Dwayne Johnson is all about challenges and surprises and the WWE Superstar-turned-actor has always been a role model for millions. His decision of making a biopic on Mark Kerr has won him a lot of appreciation again. ‘The Rock’ has always been a huge fan of MMA and he has graced UFC events with his presence in UFC 214 and UFC 244. Now, it is time to bring up that love onto the silver screen for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

UFC: Biopic on Mark Kerr

Mark Kerr was one of the most prominent heavyweight superstars of UFC back in the 90s and his story is surely that motivates us all for keeping up the fight. After getting success in Brazil, Mark Kerr was invited to compete in the UFC. He was one such fighter who has been with UFC since its very initial days. Mark Kerr debuted at the UFC 14 Heavyweight Championship title fight. He stepped in the first fight against Moti Horenstein and got the TKO win in the very first round. After the victory, Karr advanced to the finals of the heavyweight tournament and became the champion by submitting Dan Bobbish in the first round of the finals.

UFC: Dwayne Johnson’s thoughts on the UFC Star

According to Dwayne Johnson, Mark Kerr’s story is incredible and he feels that like that Kerr is a fighter inside and outside the Octagon. Kerr has fought with the demons of addiction, mental health and the extreme pressure of fighting in front of 50,000 people. The Rock feels that it is a story everyone should know. He added that Mark Kerr lives a dramatic life and if things go as per planned, UFC fans will really have a good time in the theatres with a legend on the silver screen.
