WWE RAW Results: The Viking Raiders dominate the RAW Tag Team Champs

After assisting Braun Strowman fight off The OC this past Sunday at Hell in a Cell, The Viking Raiders are now scheduled to go head-to-head against the reigning WWE Raw Tag Team Champions on Monday NIght Raw.

WWE RAW Tag Team Championship: Match Overview

This week's WWE Raw came waltzing from the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, California with the Viking Raiders working their way up to the WWE Raw Tag Team Title contention as they faced the reigning champions Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler in a non-title affair. Roode and Ziggler tried outmaneuvering the challengers, having seen The OC’s Gallows & Anderson failed attempts as they came up short in their efforts to assert power over The Viking Raiders. However, the dominant showing belonged squarely to the Viking Raiders who used their brutal offence to look impressive throughout the match. The babyfaces in Erik & Ivar hit Dolph with a Viking Experience to score a pinfall win. The commentary called it the ‘biggest victory of their careers.’

What does this victory mean for The Viking Raiders?

The Viking Raiders who are coming off multiple victories over recent weeks have a very long resume. The duo has ruled the NXT scene ever since their debut and going strong on the WWE RAW against the top tag teams on the roster. WWE just announced that next week's Raw will see The Viking Raiders go up against Roode and Ziggler in a rematch. We might see The Viking Raiders crowned the new champions as the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship will be on the line this time around.
