CM Punk gives a key update on his injury, says to wait for SmackDown in Chicago for some good news
CM Punk caught the Scottish Warrior off-guard when he came out as the secondary referee. Drew McIntyre was shocked and angered after seeing the second City Saint. He tried to get his hands on Punk and low-blowed him, and Damian Priest saw the advantage to take the pinfall. After the match, Punk offered an injury update on his arm, revealing that the fans could expect some good news when WWE visits Chicago in a few days for SmackDown.
"I've been cleared only for referee duty. I had a little bit of a hiccup out there, so we'll go back to the lab and we'll reassess. I can tell you that my arm feels amazing, I got permission to skip RAW in Corpus Christi to go home to Chicago to see my doctors with the idea that I'm going to be cleared.
