Did WWE accept Logan Paul's SummerSlam request? Former IC champion validates

At SummerSlam 2023, Logan Paul will square off against Ricochet. The two went back and forth in the last couple of weeks and it is one of those matches where no individual seemingly has the upper hand and anybody could win. Ahead of the match, Logan made a special request to the WWE management and had a justifiable reason behind it as well. With just days left before the start of the event, his opponent has apparently confirmed about it.

Richochet validates Logan Paul's request

Former champion Ricochet now appears to have validated WWE Superstar Logan Paul's significant request to the organisation. Due to their recent RAW broadcasts where both superstars have been teasing one other, the feud has got the buzz it needed. On August 5, they are scheduled to clash at SummerSlam.

On the IMPAULSIVE podcast, The Maverick made a significant request to WWE. Logan Paul admitted that he wants his fight with Ricochet to be the first one of the evening so that he can watch his brother Jake Paul's boxing showdown.

In a recent interview with Lucha Libre, who published the interview on Twitter, Ricochet might have validated his rival's request.

To make it on time for his flight to witness Jake Paul lose his boxing battle as well, the former Intercontinental Champion declared that he will defeat The Maverick at SummerSlam.

"I mean, he's asking for a fight. I guess Saturday I'm going to fight Logan Paul, give him a big L so he can get on his plane and fly to see his brother fight and get a loss too."

WWE SummerSlam 2023 headliners

WWE SummerSlam 2023 carries three headliner fights and as many title fights. The premium space has been given to Roman Reigns and Jey Uso's Tribal Combat for the WWE Universal Title. Aside from that, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes will fight for the third time and this time they might conclude their feud. Moreover, Seth Rollins will be up against Finn Balor for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
