McIntyre took a low blow when he attempted to confront Punk. Priest took advantage of the circumstance and used his final move, South of Heaven, to win.

Apart from the Clash of the Castle one should know that some months ago, Punk and McIntyre began a feud. During the Men's Royal Rumble Match of 2024, the Scottish Warrior hurt the previous WWE Champion. As payback, Punk cost McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, allowing Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and win the championship.

One may expect CM Punk to return to the ring shortly. A match against McIntyre is probably in the works and might happen at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event this year.
