WWE Hall Of Famer Shares What It Was Like Working With 16-Time Champion John Cena

John Cena shocked the world when he announced that he would be retiring from the WWE in 2025. John Cena made his announcement at the WWE live event Money In The Bank. John Cena was the face of the WWE for several years until he went to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting. Ever since then, John Cena has become a rare sight in WWE but he announced that he will be going on a farewell tour and will be a part of several WWE live events in the coming year. Following this announcement, several superstars have revealed what it was like working with the 16-time champion. 

WWE Hall Of Famer Shares Experience Of Working With John Cena 

WWE Hall Of Famer Lita shared her experience of what it was like to work with John Cena. Lita had been a part of the rivalry between John Cena and the R-rated Superstar Edge. Lita and Edge were the heels in the storyline in which they went against John Cena who was the face.

"So when I was paired with Edge, it seemed like about a year we faced John Cena, and on the live events as well. What I really loved about that is that both of those guys love being collaborative. Some people really like to take the reins and just tell you what you’re going to do that night, but they were really collaborative.

"Because we worked together for so long we had what wrestlers will refer to as that ‘telepathy’, where all you had to do was look at that person and you’d be like, ‘Yeah, I know what you want from me.’

“Being heels at that time was so fun because the more ridiculous, the more entertaining, and John really allowed me especially, but also Edge, we got to be so ridiculous,” shared Lita about her experience with John Cena. 

When Will John Cena Begin His Farewell Tour 

Up to right now, John Cena has announced that he will begin his farewell tour in 2025 after he gets done with filming his series Peacemaker. It is known that John Cena will an appearance on the episode of RAW when it finally goes onto Netflix. 

John Cena also revealed that the 2025 Wrestlemania would be his last Wrestlemania.
