WWE Hall of Famer, Roman Reigns' father passes away, WWE Universe pay their respect to the legend

The legacy of the Anoa'i family has been indelible. A lot of their members have been profound members of the wrestling realm. The family bloodline has presented some of the big names like Peter Maivia, Dwayne 'The Rock Johnson', Roman Reigns, Jimmy and Jey Uso, Rikishi, and more. But some unfortunate news is coming out of the family fold as one of the Anoa'i family's key members and the father of the longest reigning Universal Champion, the 'Tribal Chief' Roman Reigns, Sika Amoa'i, has sadly passed away at the age of 79. Since the news of the passing came out, it has sent out shockwaves in the entire wrestling realm.

‘The Wild Samoan’ Sika Anoa'i, father of WWE superstar Roman Reigns, passes away at 79

Sika Anoa'i, one half of the iconic tag team The Wild Samoans and a legendary WWE Hall of Famer, passed away at the age of 79. Leati Sika Amituana'i Anoa'i, who was born, was the father of Roman Reigns. Rosey Jahrus Anoa'i, a former WWE star, revealed Anoa'i's passing on Instagram. Roman Reigns, dubbed the "Head of the Table," is one of the four children he leaves behind, along with his wife Patricia.

'It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of WWE Hall of Famer, Polaivao Leati Sika Anoa’i. He passed away peacefully on June 25th. Sika was a celebrated figure whose contributions and legacy have left an indelible mark. His memory will live on through his achievements and the many lives he touched,' Jahrus wrote on Instagram.

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns also came out to thank everyone for the downpour of support to the family after his father's passing.

After the news came out, several wrestlers came out to express their condolence to the family and friends of the Anoa'i family. prominent names like the WWE, Natalya, Bubba Ray Dudley and Matt Hardy expressed their grief after the wrestlers' passing.

In the sports and entertainment industries, Sika is revered as a legend. He gained notoriety as part of the legendary tag team The Wild Samoans, together with his brother Arthur "Afa" Anoa'i Sr. The pair prevailed in the tag team division and won the title three times, making them enormous stars for WWE in the late 1970s and early 1980s because to their intimidating presence and insane style.
