WWE RAW: Seth Rollins defeats newcomer Carrillo in a close fight
Humberto Carrillo, a newcomer lost to the WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins in an interesting bout of Monday Night Raw. Rollins showed experience in his win.
Coming into the ring, the Universal Champion Seth Rollins explained his decision to burn down the Firefly Fun House last week in the World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) Monday Night RAW. Rollins stated that Bray Wyatt has gotten into his head and he hoped to get into Wyatt’s head by burning down the Fun House. Humberto Carrillo, a RAW newcomer was challenged by Rollins after Carrilo said that he wants to be the next WWE Universal Champion.
WWE: Experience matters
As soon as the bell rang, Carrillo was seen dominating the match with his perfect moves but Rollins used his veteran expertise to win an upper hand in the match. Carrillo, who is a former 205 Live standout took Seth Rollins down with a crossbody and an arm drag. Soon after that, Rollins got up and suplexed Carrillo on the floor. The WWE Universal Champion kept dominating throughout the match with his in-ring experience. Carrillo was in no mood to give up. He hit Rollins with a springboard kick and another arm drag.
Carrillo took a dive to the outside, bringing Rollins down. The Universal Champion got a two count twice in the match. He dodged a missile dropkick and hit a Falcon Arrow for a two count. Also, a jumping knee got him another two count. He came up with a buckle bomb move and a superkick for a near fall. Carrillo tried a Moonsault on Rollins and was not successful with it. Rollins countered it to hit a curb stomp for the win.
