After Deontay Wilder claimed that Tyson Fury does not want a rematch, Fury responded by posting a video on social media and announcing that he will be fighting Wilder on February 22, 2020. Wilder retained his World Heavyweight title against the Gypsy King in December 2018 after a controversial draw. Taking to Instagram, Fury shared the video saying that he is making the video to address Deontay Wilder's recent comments on how he doesn’t want to fight him in February.
In a recent interview, the Bronze Bomber said that Fury is afraid of him and he doesn’t want to fight him. Addressing the same, Fury said that, if he was afraid of him, then he wouldn't have fought him after being out for almost three years. He added that he wouldn't have returned to the ring and beaten him in his own country. He then said that Wilder had robbed him by giving him a draw in their previous match.
After thrashing Wilder, Fury advised him to focus on his upcoming fight with Ortiz. He asked Wilder to stop using his name for relevance and ended the video saying that he will see him on February 22. Here’s what Tyson Fury posted.
