Intercontinental champion Shinsuke Nakamura will be drafted in the Monday Night RAW segment of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on October 15, 2019. He made his mark starting with WWE NXT where he emerged as a champion. Shinsuke Nakamura was immediately moved to SmackDown live. He recorded several victories including the big ones against superstars like John Cena, Dolph Ziggler and Randy Orton.

The Japanese origin superstar registered his most significant win by eliminating Roman Reigns to win the 2018 Royal Rumble match. Shinsuke, who was riding on his victories, incurred a loss against WWE Champion AJ Styles at WrestleMania in a bonafide Dream Match. He won the United States Championship at WWE Extreme Rules, unseating Jeff Hardy with his brash new attitude. In 2019 Royal Rumble, he reclaimed the title against Rusev.

Shinsuke Nakamura is currently the Intercontinental champion as he defeated Finn Balor in an exciting bout. He subsequently allied with Sami Zayn. He is likely to stay at SmackDown as he is still on the verge of gaining fans and support. It will be a rare situation where he will be drafted to RAW alongside his partner Sami Zayn.
