WWE Backstage: Special episode announced featuring Finn Balor

After attacking Johnny Gargano in the latest episode of WWE NXT, Finn Balor is set to appear in the special episode of WWE Backstage. Hosted by Renee Young and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, the special episode will air after SmackDown ends on FS1. The WWE on FOX tweeted a video of Young announcing the upcoming special episode. In the video, Young can also reveal that Paige and Christian will also appear on the show. Here’s what Renee Young tweeted. After Strong’s win, all the members of The Undisputed Era came into the ring and celebrated with the winner. Later, all the members started punishing Lee and Dijakovic by delivering kicks and punches. After seeing the wrestlers being brutalised by the ERA, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano entered the ring for help. When it looked like a fight is going to go down between the two teams, Finn Balor arrived at the scene. Balor came to the ring and stood next to Gargano. To fans it looked like the trio of Balor, Gargano and Ciampa are going to fight the ERA, but that didn’t happen. Balor stunned the WWE Universe when he hit Gargano on the nose with a Pele Kick, leaving The Undisputed ERA to brutalise Ciampa. Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly held Ciampa in place and NXT Champion Adam Cole delivered a last shot to The Blackheart.
