WWE: Balor talks about his return to NXT and the ‘Prince’ character

Balor featured in a wrestling podcast where he spoke about his return to NXT and his famous Prince character. Balor also revealed the reason why he left WWE.

A few weeks ago, Finn Balor made a comeback to the yellow brand show after taking a long break from WWE. In his last appearance on WWE NXT, Finn Balor shocked the whole WWE Universe by brutally attacking Johnny Gargano in front of The Undisputed Era. This side of former NXT champion shocked fans and they shared their emotions on various social media platforms. Even in the video of the incident shared by WWE showed fans to be in shock. Earlier, Balor featured in a wrestling podcast where he talked about his return to NXT.

WWE: Finn Balor talks about his return to NXT

When talking about his return to NXT, Balor said that there are a lot of factors that played a part in his move. He took some time away, revaluated his career, his goals, took a hard look at himself and realized that he wasn't being true to who he was and realised that it was starting to be real. He added that it's easy to get caught up in the WWE bubble of what they want you to be and what is expected of you, but he just got tired of playing ball and he just wants to be himself, so, “The Prince is back."

WWE: Finn Balor reveals the reason why he left WWE

Balor revealed that people used to meet him and ask him the reason of leaving WWE, but he never used to tell them anything. He said that the reason behind his exit from WWE was simple, he needed some time off. He said that he wrestled 172 matches last year that equates to almost 300 days on the road and enough was enough. He had worked really hard for five years and he was done. He said to himself that he is a human being and he wanted to go back to being himself.

While talking about WWE, he said that he had done everything WWE asked him to do. He went out there with a smile on his face. He raised his arms when the cameras went on. He had done all of the interviews and media conferences WWE wanted him to do. He added that he travelled all over the world and now he just needs a little time to himself and re-evaluate exactly what he wanted. After a lot of thinking, he decided that he fits in NXT. He also revealed that he is someone who can work anywhere, whether it’s RAW, SmackDown, NXT, the indies.
