Jim Ross and WWE have parted  ways since a long time. The pro wrestling veteran is currently a commentator in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). However, that did not change the respect he has for WWE CEO Vince McMahon. Jim Ross a.k.a ‘Good Ol J.R’ has worked with WWE for decades and he admitted that Vince McMahon has been a tremendous support system in his life. According to Jim, Mr McMahon was there beside him when his wife passed away in 2017. The bond between them prevails even though Jim is currently signed with WWE's rival company.

Jim Ross recently took to his podcast ‘Grilling J.R podcast’ to reveal his bond with WWE CEO. Ross showered praises on Vince McMahon for his hardworking mentality and the things he has achieved in his entire life. The former WWE employee believes that Vince McMahon is a workaholic and is obsessed with WWE. “He won’t say it but I don’t think there is anything more prominent than the WWE in his life,” said Ross in his podcast.

The AEW commentator further revealed that his wife used to compare Vince McMahon with Michael Jackson and Walt Disney very often. According to Ross, the WWE CEO didn’t do well at times in other people’s world. So he created his own world where he can be the 'king'. Ross also said that WWE has got a CEO who believes that sleep is his enemy. “He told me one time that sleep is our enemy. In fact, he told me that more than one time, that sleep is our enemy," Ross reminisced. Despite choosing diverse paths, Ross says that he still shares a similar bond with Vince McMahon and if they ever need each other in their lives, both men will step up happily.
