WWE Legend John Cena Anticipates His One Final Wish Will Be Granted During Retirement Tour in 2025

John Cena has officially called for his retirement, revealing that the year 2025 will be his final in the realm of wrestling. For someone who has spent 20+ years in the squared circle, it will be hard for the fans to see someone like Cena hang up his jorts. Cena could have his dream matches come to life while also engaging with some of the new talents when he embarks on his tour. But the 16-time World Champion has one wish that wants to achieve during his journey next year.

John Cena has a big wish he wants to fulfill during his retirement tour in 2025 

John Cena's retirement tour kicks off in January 2025 and he is expected to be a part of every WWE PLE throughout the next year. It opens a boatload of opportunities for the 16-time World Champion to have some dream match-ups and face off against the stars he dearly wants to. Cena recently revealed one of his biggest wishes to talkSPORT, saying that he wants to have a few matches in the UK before calling time in his career.

"I really hope so. As you know, I'm retiring from in-ring performing next year and we'll start in January and we'll do our last match in December 2025. I really hope there are some UK dates involved in that farewell," John Cena said.

John Cena made a surprise appearance at this year's Money in the Bank PLE to announce his retirement. In the preceding year, he had shown up at the premium live event when it took place in London, England, to advocate for a WrestleMania showcase in the UK.

A lot of superstars want to lock horns with Cena for one last time, with some lip-smacking match-ups also being under consideration. Some of the names Cena might face would be the World Champion GUNTHER and the Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.

But one of John Cena's rivals is eager to run it back with him. Seth 'Freakin' Rollins has showcased interest in battling with the Leader of the Cenation during his retirement tour, and more big names may also express interest in locking horns with him.
