WWE News: Tyson Fury does not find wrestling fake ahead of Crown Jewel
Tyson Fury, who has a match scheduled against Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel that will take place on October 31, said that wrestling is not fake at all.
British boxer Tyson Fury, who has a match scheduled against Braun Strowman at WWE Crown Jewel that will take place on October 31 at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, told a leading American media outlet that wrestling is not fake. 'The Gypsy King' talked about the physical pain that he suffered while undergoing his wrestling training. He stated that the physicality involved in wrestling is more than what he has experienced while training in boxing.
Fury stated that he has injured his ankle, shoulder and is having issues with his back too. Fury, who is an undefeated heavyweight boxer, added that one has to take bumps in wrestling and it is not the same case in boxing. The bumps can lead to injuries if one doesn’t protect themselves properly.
He also mentioned how he got hurt when he was taking his first unprotected bump, training for his match at Crown Jewel. He said that if one is not careful, it can end their career as there are high chances of getting seriously injured. Fury also gave an example of how many of the superstars in WWE have gone through it, plagued with spinal and neck injuries.
